My name is Kitimba Tony, the founder of Have Faith in God Children Centre. I was born on 21st July, 1996, I am an orphan with only 2 brothers called Buye Emmanuel and Emmanuel Semuwemba.

This is my story:

I grew up with a single mother who used to care for us so much, although she never had much to support us with, we used to eat once a day or sometimes we used to take porridge a day or sometimes we used to starve but all in all we used to pray to God so that we can pass through the situation we used to go through.

With my poor family, we were so lucky, we were born with talent, that talent managed to support us in terms of education. One day as we played soccer around our village Kawaala, a man of God came with an opportunity he had got for me, where I would get education using my football skills. So I was able to go through school up to primary seven, so I wasn’t able to continue up to secondary level or even university.

But after having a struggling education, the situation worsened, my mother couldn’t raise money for rent, food, clothes and medication any more.
